The Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association held its first major in-person event in more than two years on Thursday when it featured Hon. Sylvia Hinds-Radix and Carrie Anne Cavallo during its annual gala held at the Liberty Warehouse in Red Hook.
“Tonight’s gala is extremely personal to me as we honor two exceptional women who have served as mentors to many as well as a personal mentor to myself,” BWBA President Madeline Kirton said in a statement.
“We are able to host an amazing gala in person after two years since the COVID-19 pandemic with the support and hard work of this year’s gala committee,” Kirton said.
